Our conversations are recorded for approximately 60 minutes, then professionally edited into a 30-minute episode.
Please choose a quiet location where you'll have uninterrupted time during the recording.

I've created a simple conversation that helps me personalize your interview and highlight the accomplishments, stories, and experiences you'd most like listeners to remember.
The conversation takes approximately 10–15 minutes.

Step 3: Prepare for the Recording
For the best recording experience, you should:
✔ Choose a quiet room.
✔ Use strong internet.
✔ Place your camera at eye level.
✔ Use soft front lighting.
✔ Keep water nearby.
✔ Silence your phone.
✔ Wear solid colors.
✔ Have your book nearby, if applicable.
✔ Test your microphone.
✔ Relax and enjoy yourself.
There are 3 segments during the recording:
Meet & Greet
• Tell listeners about yourself, your journey, and what shaped who you are today.
On the Horizon
• Share what’s next, including books, projects, events, causes, businesses, and upcoming goals.
The CONNECT
• Tell listeners where they can learn more, follow your work, support your mission, or stay connected.

You may be wondering....
What Happens Next?
Once the 60-minute recording session is over, the CONNECT Media staff will perform the technical work, which includes the following:
✔ Edit the audio to remove mistakes, pauses, and background noise.
✔ Add intro and outro music to enhance the listening experience.
✔ Incorporate sound effects or transitions for smoother flow.
✔ Normalize audio levels for consistent volume throughout the episode.
✔ Create show notes that summarize key points and include links.
✔ Export the final audio file in the desired format and quality.
Once the technical work is completed, the 30-minute episode will be sent to you for your final approval before publishing. Upon your approval, the completed episode will be uploaded to a podcast hosting service, scheduled for release, and distributed to podcast directories.
Before final publication, the CONNECT Media staff will perform one final quality check to confirm that the audio plays correctly, the episode information is accurate, and all files have been uploaded successfully.
